Gau (Represents Buddha’s Body)

“Gau” is a transliterated word from Tibetan. It is a sacred relic holder and wearable prayer amulet shrine.

His Venerable Khenpo Karpo Rinpoche collected one thousand two hundred and fifty eight precious ingredients including relics, nectars, and Guru Rinpoche’s robe and hair which have been passing from one great master to another, and made them into  small Guru Dewa (Guru Rinpoche in the form of great happiness) statue to put inside this amulet. It has been consecrated and blessed by many highly respected Rinpoches and hundreds of monks for many cycles (14 days and nights as a cycle). This Gau serves as a protection amulet which can keep you away from accidents, bad lucks and all sorts of negative forces.
